What is a network access charge?

The Economic Regulation Authority approved Western Power's fourth Access Arrangement (AA4). The Access Arrangement determines how much Synergy must pay to Western Power to transport electricity to its customers.

From 1 July 2021, Synergy will be passing on price changes to Network Access Charges and this will impact how much you pay under your Synergy Business Plan and Electricity Sales Agreement (ESA) products.
