Synergy Financial Counsellor Portal

Synergy has developed a web-based tool that allows FCAWA accredited financial counsellors the ability to better assist Synergy customers by providing secure access to customer information via an easy online platform.

With your permission your Financial Counsellor will be able to access account information they would normally call for online such as your Account Balance, Invoices and Payment History.

If you have received a 6-digit verification code and would like to allow your Financial Counsellor access to your Synergy Account information through the online platform, please provide them with the code that has been sent to you via SMS or Email.

By providing the verification code to the requesting Financial Counsellor you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are authorising the Financial Counsellor to obtain access to your Synergy account information for a period of 90 days from the time the Financial Counsellor enters the Verification Code into the Financial Counsellor Portal.
  • The Financial Counsellor will be able to act on your behalf in relation to your Synergy Account during that 90-day period as follows:
    • accessing your account information and personal details;
    • giving and receiving notices, consents, instructions and other information;
    • making enquiries;
    • exercising rights, powers and remedies;
    • completing transactions; and
    • arranging additional time to pay an invoice, entering into instalment plans and other payment arrangements;
If you provide the verification code to your Financial Counsellor and decide you no longer want them to be able to access your account information within the 90-day period you can contact us on 13 13 53 between 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday (excludes public holidays) to request us to remove their authority. Please note the provisions in the Standard Electricity Agreement continue to apply.
