FAQ

Where can I find my payment number?

You'll find this at the bottom right of your bill (that's the 10 digit number on the first page just below the dotted line).

Set and forget with Direct Debit

When you set up Direct Debit, we’ll automatically debit the bill amount from your bank account, or your credit or debit card whenever the payment is due, so you don’t have to worry about it. A small transaction fee only applies to credit or debit cards - bank accounts are fee-free.

FAQ

Will I still receive a bill if I switch to Paperless?

Yes. You’ll receive your bill by email (as a PDF attachment) instead of by post.

Your Synergy bill will look the same, but you’ll receive it electronically. You can choose to save, print or share your bill. Paperless billing allows you to manage your bill without paper (unless you choose to print it yourself) and keep your bills together online, through My Account.

In the future, if you decide to switch back to receiving your bill in the mail, you can do this – but please note a paper-based billing fee may apply. We’ll ask for feedback on why you’d like to switch back, to help improve our services.

Switch to Paperless with SMS reminders

Save on paperwork and get your bills and other account notifications delivered straight to your inbox. Plus, we'll send you an SMS reminder whenever your bill is due to be paid.

FAQ

Where do I update my credit card or bank account details for my Direct Debit?

Keep your credit card or bank account details up-to-date anytime, anywhere, via My Account. Please make any changes at least 5 business days before your next Direct Debit payment date - so your details are updated in time.
