Synergy’s Community Giving Fund encourages community enhancement

The aim of Synergy’s annual Community Giving Fund is to empower people to make a difference. All grant recipients make a positive impact on people and the environment in Synergy's area of operation the South West Interconnected System (SWIS) – from Kalbarri in the north, east to Kalgoorlie and south to Albany.

In 2024, 15 organisations will each receive up to $10,000 to assist them to deliver a variety of services and support at a local level.

Synergy’s Chief Executive Officer, David Fyfe congratulates this years’ grant recipients.

“We are pleased to be able to support Western Australian charities, social enterprises and not-for-profit organisations who are striving to make a lasting impact in the communities in which we operate.

“At Synergy we believe in making a positive contribution to Western Australia – to our people, environment and communities. Our Community Giving Fund is one of the ways we are giving back.

“We are so pleased to be able to award more grants than ever before to organisations that are making a real difference.

“The 2024 grants will assist many Western Australians including people living with disability, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander high school students, LGBTQIA+ young people in regional areas, those in hardship and women and children dealing with domestic violence issues.”
