Synergy Collie Small Grants Program powers community for a brighter future
The Synergy Collie Small Grants Program is empowering the local community with about $40,000 in grants awarded to nine not-for-profit groups at the Collie Ridge Resort last night (May 23).
The program offers grants of up to $5000 to community organisations and charities making a difference in the Collie region.
More than $200,000 has been distributed to worthy causes since the Synergy Collie Grants Program was launched six years ago.
Executive General Manager Thermal Generation, Angie Young, said Synergy is partnering with the Collie community to provide support where it is needed most.
“The aim of the grants program is to provide a much-needed boost to grass-roots organisations that deliver social, economic and environmental benefits to the community,” Ms Young said.
