  1. The Synergy “Win a $200 credit on your Synergy energy bill” competition (the Competition) is run by Synergy (ABN 58 673 830 106) on and subject to these terms and conditions. Your entry into this Competition will be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synergy’s decision regarding the prize draws, determination of eligible entries and winners, and the conduct of the Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to any dispute or other matter arising in relation to the Competition.
  3. The Competition will commence at 10:00am (WST) on 3 April 2016 and will close at 4:00pm (WST) 3 April 2016 (Competition Period).
  4. To be eligible to enter the Competition, you (the Entrant) must place their contact details into competition box provided at Eco-Fair, City Farm, East Perth.
  5. Employees and agents of Synergy, or relatives of them, and any related bodies, including the Property Council, are not eligible to enter the Competition and if such an entry is submitted, it will not be valid.
  6. The total prize pool of the Competition consists of 1 x $200 Synergy residential energy bill credit.
  7. All eligible Entrants will be entered into the Prize draw and the winner will be drawn by random manual selection at around 10:00pm (WST), 4 April 2016 at the Synergy office, 228 Adelaide Terrace, Perth, Western Australia, Australia, 6000
  8. The winner will be notified by phone or email.
  9. Any prize must be taken “as offered” and cannot be varied, extended, transferred or exchanged for cash.
  10. If the stated prize is unavailable for any reason, Synergy reserves the right to offer a substitute prize of equivalent value.
  11. The winner consents to Synergy using his or her name, company and photograph for publicity purposes.
  12. Synergy does not accept any responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed or ineligible entries, applications, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, theft, deletion, destruction, transmission, interruption, communications failure or otherwise. Synergy has no control over the internet, networks or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with any of those things, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise.
  13. If for any reason any aspect of the Competition is not capable of running as planned (including, without limitation, by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, concert cancellation or any cause beyond the reasonable control of Synergy, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition), Synergy, in their sole discretion may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the Gaming and Wagering Competition (WA) or other relevant authority.
  14. Synergy reserves the right to change the duration of the Competition at any time, in which case the entries closure, winner determination and any draw dates will also change.
  15. Synergy and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, direct, indirect, special or consequential loss, loss of opportunity or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Competition or any prize (including, without limitation, delivery, acceptance or use of any prize), except for any liability which, by law, cannot be excluded, restricted or modified (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law).
  16. All entries will be the property of Synergy. The information provided by entrants will be used by Synergy for the purpose of conducting the Competition. Synergy may disclose entrants’ personal information to their respective contractors and agents to assist in conducting the Competition or communicating with entrants and to the Gaming and Wagering Competition (WA) or other relevant authority and winners’ names may be published as required under the relevant legislation.
  17. These terms and conditions are governed by and to be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Western Australia.
  18. Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts, excludes or modifies your statutory rights, to the extent any such restriction, exclusion or modification is prohibited by law.) on and subject to these terms and conditions.
